A 27-year-old medical student plans on spending happily ever after with the degree she's receiving next month from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. In fact, she's celebrating the occasion with what she's calling a "graduwedding." "
Imagine a graduation party that's as EXTRA as a wedding," Angie Hamouie writes on her wedding website. "It's the union of two souls, in this case, Angie and her medical degree...The party is the celebration of the lifelong partnership Angie will have with her diploma." The website also contains a gift registry that asks those attending the May 13 bash to donate to a nonprofit organization in lieu of presents.
