Lindsay Lohan is set to star in a new British sitcom titled “Sick Note,” alongside “Harry Potter” star Rupert Grint and “Paul” actor Nick Frost.
The series is currently shooting in the United Kingdom, and the actress took to Instagram yesterday to share a picture from the set. Her hair is styled in a bob in the photo, with the caption, “Back on set of my new TV show #SickNote.”
“Sick Note” follows the story of Daniel Glass, played by Grint, who’s a compulsive liar stuck in a failing relationship and a dead-end insurance job.
Daniel is then wrongly diagnosed with a terminal illness by his incompetent doctor. Instead of fixing the mistake, the doctor convinces Daniel to hide the truth from his colleagues, friends and family.
Lindsay will play the daughter of Daniel’s boss in the show’s second season.
