Instagram Will Now Show You When Someone Screenshots Your Story

Instagram is currently testing a feature that identifies users who take screenshots of public Instagram stories.

Those affected by testing will receive a pop-up warning from the app that reads, "Next time you take a screenshot or screen recording, the person who posted the story will be able to see it."

Although the feature hasn't rolled out yet, users are panicking and taking to Twitter to air their concerns.

"Instagram is now exposing everyone who screenshots an Instagram story. We can no longer screenshot in peace," one person complained. Another wrote, "Snapchat changed its layout. Instagram now makes it where it notifies when you screenshot or screen record someone’s story. Facebook is for the oldies Twitter, don’t f**k this up. We beg."
