Spice Girls, unite!
Variety reports that the '90s girl group is getting back together to star in an animated superhero movie that's all about "girl power."
All five of the group's members have signed off on their likenesses appearing in the as-yet-untitled production, which is still being shopped around.
Each Spice Girl has also agreed to voice her cartoonish alter ego, with each member being given a superhero power that fits with her personality.
"They're fired up about the idea," says a source. "The Spice Girls are thinking big in terms of a franchise on a global scale. They’re the most successful girl group on the planet. It’s just what Marvel or Disney needs."
The Spice Girls last co-starred in the 1997 live-action comedy Spice World.
