Walmart "Yodel Kid" Signs Record Deal & Drops New Song

Walmart "yodel kid" Mason Ramsey is now major-label recording artist Mason Ramsey.

Billboard reports that the 11-year-old who rocketed to fame for yodeling Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" at a Kentucky Walmart last month has just signed a joint deal with Atlantic Records and Big Loud.

Ramsey also dropped his first single on Thursday, an original tune called "Famous" that opens with the lyric, "Don't get me wrong; it's pretty cool to be on TV / So all the folks back home can see me."
