Netflix announced on Wednesday that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is the official title of its Sabrina the Teenage Witch reboot series, after the Archie Comics graphic novel on which it’s based.
“It’s official! Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is our title!” series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa tweeted alongside a photo of star Kiernan Shipka sitting in a director’s chair. “Something wicked this way comes.”
Deadline reports that this adaptation will be in the same vein as Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist and finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature--half-witch, half-mortal--while facing the evil forces that threaten her.
