Ariana Grande Channels "Mean Girls" In Epic "Thank U, Next" Trailer

Ariana Grande pays homage to a classic scene from Mean Girls in the trailer for her "Thank U, Next" music video.

The 47-second clip, which dropped late Monday on Twitter, re-creates the 2004 rom-com's iconic montage where several high-school students gush about the impressive things they know about Regina George.

While Grande herself does not appear in the preview, there are cameos from pop star Troye Sivan and actual Mean Girls cast members like Jonathan Bennett (who played love interest Aaron Samuels) and actress Stefanie Drummond, who played a minor role as the student who claimed it was "awesome" when Regina punched her in the face.

In the video trailer, Drummond says about Grande, "Ariana broke off an engagement, so I found a guy to propose to me and I broke off an engagement."
