Talk about "A Whole New World!" Disney dropped the first full-length trailer for its live-action Aladdin remake on Tuesday, and the clip re-creates several classic scenes from the 1992 animated original.
The preview begins with the title character (played by Mena Massoud) causing havoc in the streets of Agrabah before running into Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott).
Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) then convinces Aladdian to swipe the Genie’s lamp from the Cave of Wonders, which leads to Will Smith offering up a rap-happy version of Robin Williams' classic "Friend Like Me." Later on, Jasmine and Aladdin duet on the movie's classic ballad, "A Whole New World."
Perhaps best of all, the trailer reveals that Smith's Genie is not blue-skinned throughout the movie.
Aladdin arrives in theaters on May 24.
