The creators of HBO’s Game of Thrones will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series in a documentary that will air after the series finale.
The network announced Wednesday thatGame of Thrones: The Last Watch follows members of the crew and the cast as they contended with extreme weather, approached deadlines and attempted to prevent spoilers while filming the show’s eighth and final season.
Jeanie Finlay directed the two-hour documentary, which is described as “a funny, heartbreaking story…about the bittersweet pleasures of what it means to create a world.”
It will premiere on Sunday, May 26, at 9 p.m., one week after the series finale.
