Game of Thrones? More like Lame and Groans! More than 340,00 fans of the hit HBO series have signed an online petition to remake the show's eighth and final season after a string of disappointing episodes.
"Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers," the Change.org petition is titled. It goes on to say that show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss "have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material to fall back on. This series deserves a final season that makes sense."
News of the petition comes after this past Sunday's penultimate episode, "The Bells," became the series' lowest-rated episode ever on Rotten Tomatoes, with only 47 percent of critics calling it good.
