Hey Star Wars fans, who's ready to "use the force" to win cash and prizes? On Tuesday, Disney+ announced that it will debut a new game show next year on the platform titled Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge.
Hosted by none other than Ahmed Best--yep, the guy who played Jar Jar Binks!--the show is described by Variety as "a competition in which young contestants will demonstrate their skills in the three core Jedi principles: strength, knowledge, and bravery."
Adds Mickey Capoferri, Lucasfilm’s senior director of online content and programming, "The various challenges will test a Padawan’s connection to the Force in three locations--a forest planet, on board a Jedi star cruiser, and inside a Jedi Temple--immersing them and the audience in a fun, humorous, and exciting competition.”
