Here's one that'll save you from cracking your teeth on ice water — freeze your water bottle on its SIDE, not standing up.
Laying it down gives the water more surface area, so it freezes faster. And instead of one giant ice column that takes forever to melt, you get cold water way quicker when it starts thawing.
One tip — leave a little room at the top. Water expands when it freezes, so don't fill it all the way.
