Yesterday Madonna left Malawi with her adopted twin daughters, Stella and Esther.
Madonna shared a picture of her and her twin daughters walking hand-in-hand on Instagram with the caption,
“I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family. I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and love!”
Madonna took a private jet to New York with her twin daughter just 36 hours after a judge approved her adoption request.
She initially denied reports about wanting to adopt again after visiting Malawi last month. She claimed her trip was for her charity work, but she was really there working on adopting Stella and Esther.
