Nick Cannon has threatened to a lawsuit against the “National Enquirer” over what he claims is a fake story they’re going to run.
The article claims Cannon suffered a nervous breakdown and his erratic behavior is making his ex-wife, Mariah Carey fighting to get custody of their children.
It goes on to claim Cannon burned his bridges with NBC executives on “America’s Got Talent”, which he announced he’d be leaving earlier this month.
Cannon said he’s leaving the show over a racial joke he made in a Showtime stand-up special that didn’t sit well with NBC.
He’s threatened a slander and defamation lawsuit if the article runs.
