Bill Paxton, 61, Dies Unexpectedly Due To Complications From Surgery

Actor Bill Paxton is dead at the age of 61 because of complications following a heart surgery.

The “Aliens” star passed away on Saturday after a heart surgery had complications post-op and he suffered a fatal stroke.

Paxton was currently on the CBS series “Training Day” and had roles in several big movies including “Titanic,” “Twister” and “Apollo 13.”

He also starred in the HBO series “Big Love” for which he earned three Golden Globe nominations.

Nearly 200 storm chasers came together to form his initials in his honor. They used GPS coordinates that spread across Tornado Alley, the location where the movie "Twister" was filmed.
