It has been over a decade since Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston called it quits on their marriage, but an insider told US Weekly that Brad has re-connected with Jennifer, after reaching out since his split from Angelina Jolie.
The 53-year-old actor tracked down Jennifer’s number last month to wish her a happy 48th birthday, and he’s been texting her ever since.
The pair got divorced in 2005, and have not been in each others lives since he found love while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” with his now-estranged wife Angelina Jolie.
The former spouses exchanged a number of texts and Brad reportedly 'confided in Jen,' saying that he’s having a hard time with his split and reminiscing about the past.'
The insider said contact between the pair is no big deal to either party.
Jen's new husband Justin Theroux is also said to be fine with Brad and Jen having a relationship.
