Hilary Duff talks dating after getting divorced.
The 29-year-old singer/actress tells Redbook: “I never think being single sucks until I go out in Los Angeles and the options are terrible. I really attract the old men!”
The former Disney child star has been dating her music producer Matthew Koma for a few months.
However, she told the publication that being a divorced parent isn’t always smooth sailing, especially when it comes to co-parenting her son, 4-year-old Luca, with ex-husband, retired professional ice hockey player Mike Comrie.
Duff explains, “Some of my friends tell me, ‘God it must be so nice, you get a break from your kid because you share him'. I’m divorced, and it sucks. Well, it did suck for a while; now it’s just normal. But it’s true, I do get a break. I had Luca by myself for a few weeks, no help, when Mike was on the road, and when he got home I was like, ‘He’s yours! Bye!’”
Duff did add that despite her current circumstances, she’s not opposed to having more children except she’s in no hurry to expand her family anytime soon.
