Millennials Don't Consider Themselves Adults Until Age 30

Adulting can be hard to deal with at times!

Just ask today's millennials, who apparently don't even think of themselves as bona fide grownups until they've reached the big 3-0.

According to a new Nielsen study, 30 is the age at which millennials finally self-identify as an adult, which they define as "someone who has moved out of their parents' home, has a job and pays their own bills."

While the recession is partly behind this delayed adulthood, researcher David Poltrack adds, "More controversial is the whole idea that their baby boomer parents have really coddled them.

They've made it too good for them. Why would you leave?"
