Facebook's Messenger app is now offering a Live Location service that tracks users and continually shares their location with friends for up to an hour.
The feature is designed to help friends find one another and organize meet ups in unfamiliar or crowded places.
Sharing location information will be optional, but it will also be live. This means that once a user shares the information with a friend, the friend will be able to watch the user's movement for up to 60 minutes.
