Firefighters Make A Recruitment Video And It's Actually Pretty Catchy

The New Gloucester Fire Department in Maine has gone viral after recording a recruitment song called “I Got Hose.”

The parody was inspired by the song “Area Codes” by Nate Dogg and Ludacris.

The video was posted to the department’s Facebook page on Friday and has been viewed over 350,000 times. The video was first viewed at a banquet earlier this month where it was well-received.

The department said a 21-year-old firefighter came up with the lyrics for the song and is hoping to get on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
