“La La Land” Jazz Club Will Be A Real Place For At Least One Night

“La La Land,” will be released on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday.

To promote the film’s upcoming release date, jazz clubs around the country will transform themselves into “Seb’s,” the jazz club owned by Ryan Gosling’s character in the movie.

Participating bars include “Andy’s Jazz Club” in Chicago, New Orleans’ “d.b.a.,” “Mr. Henry’s” in Washington, DC, San Francisco’s “Le Colonial” and “The Blind Donkey” in Long Beach, which actually stood in as “Seb’s” during the filming of the movie.

All the clubs will put up a full-size neon “Seb’s” sign, and offer themed drinks and live music.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has also declared next Tuesday “‘La La Land’ Day.”
