Seattle Woman Gets Fake Money From Bank Of America ATM

A Seattle woman recently attempted to withdraw $300 from an ATM at Bank of America and discovered that one of the bills was fake.

Darcy Fox tells KMO-TV that one of the $20 bills she received was labeled "Motion Picture Use Only" where it should read "United States of America."

Fox took the bill inside the branch and had it switched out for a real $20.

However, she is still baffled by the incident. "I mean, this is blatantly fake money," she declared. "The bank isn't supposed to miss these things. It bewildered me that they could actually have that occur at a bank."

A Bank of America spokesperson has responded by calling this an "isolated incident" and has assured customers that there are safe guards in place to keep fake money out of ATMs.
