FXX has ordered a new animated adult comedy series based on the Marvel character, "Deadpool."
The untitled project will be spearheaded by Donald Glover, who created the sitcom, “Atlanta,” and his brother, Stephen Glover, who also wrote on “Atlanta.”
Both brothers will also serve as show runners, executive producers and writers.
The network has ordered 10 episodes for the first season.
The movie, “Deadpool,” came out in 2016, and became one of the highest-grossing R-rated films of all time.
The sequel is set to premiere in 2018.
The animated series is also set to premiere in 2018.
