Chipotle announced on Friday that they’ve been hacked. They said customer data including credit card information has been breached.
The company found malware tracking credit card numbers, expiration dates, and verification codes between March 24 through April 18.
The data that was lifted can be used by hackers to make "clone" credit cards or remove money from debit-linked accounts.
The hack affected stores in 47 states and Washington, DC.
No word on exactly how many customers might have been compromised.
