Comedian Kathy Griffin Is Receiving Major Backlash For Her Donald Trump Picture

During a photo session, comedian Kathy Griffin posed with the bloody head of President Trump.

The photo shows Griffin looking straight at the camera as she holds President Trump’s severed head in her hand.

During the shoot, Griffin reportedly joked around with the photographer (Tyler Shields) saying they might both need to move to Mexico after the picture is released or they could face jail time.

On Twitter she said: “I caption this ‘there was blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his… wherever’”....  which was a line Trump used about Megan Kelly.

Kathy Griffin made an apology video saying, ”I'm a comic. I crossed the line. I moved the line, then I crossed it. I went way too far.”"The images will be taken down".

She has asked the photographer to take down the images.

The Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque just cancelled Kathy Griffin's show in July!

The casino is responding to the backlash from Kathy Griffin's video of a "beheaded" President Trump.

The photo was not well-received on social media… even Chelsea Clinton and Kathy’s pal, Anderson Cooper, were unimpressed:

Kathy Griffin took to Twitter and made an apology video after posting photographs of her holding a bloody decapitated head that looks like President Donald Trump.

She said, ”I'm a comic. I crossed the line. I moved the line, then I crossed it. I went way too far.”

"The images will be taken down".   She has asked the photographer to take down the images.

NOTE:   Earlier in the day, Griffin doubled down on the artistic stunt in two tweets which she has since deleted.

CNN was questioned about the status of gig for the network’s New Year's Eve show. CNN said: "We found what she did disgusting and offensive. We are pleased to see she has apologized”. The network also said it is "evaluating" New Year's Eve and has not made any decisions yet.
