Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell has finally apologized for saying "Goodbye" to her girl group in the middle of their Spiceworld tour 19 years ago.
On Wednesday, the "20 Years of Spice" Twitter account tweeted, "Nineteen years ago today, it was announced that @GeriHalliwell had left the Spice Girls in the middle of their world tour."
Halliwell tweeted in reply, "I'm sorry about that...Everything works out in the end. That's what my mum says!"
People notes that while some fans were happy to forgive and forget, others still felt the sting of her exit. "My heart is still a little broken, Geri," one tweeted, while another fan wrote, "I know it sounds silly, but my 15-year-old self was devastated...I felt like I lost family."
