"Sleeping Beauty Syndrome" Causes Boy To Sleep For 20 Hours A Day

A teenager in Florida is suffering from a rare disorder that’s causing him to sleep up to 20-hours a day.

The high school senior was diagnosed with Kleine-Levin syndrome, sometimes referred to as “Sleeping Beauty” syndrome when he was 14.

His episodes can last for up to three weeks and require around-the-clock care as he sleeps for 20-hours a day, and has trouble with basic tasks.
