Corinne and DeMario Release Statements Regarding BIP Scandal

Days after news broke that production on Bachelor in Paradise had been suspended due to "allegations of misconduct," both Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson have issued statements about what happened in Mexico.

"I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4," Olympios said.

"Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place...As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality."

She has since hired attorney Marty Singer, who has worked with high-profile clients like John Travolta, Charlie Sheen and Bill Cosby.

Shortly after, Jackson responded. "It’s unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations,” he said. “I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws.”

Production for the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise was stopped after Jackson and Olympios allegedly had sex in the pool after the cast had been "drinking all day."

She was reportedly unconscious by the end of it.
