The NBA Atlanta Hawks are paying for a couple’s wedding after the two met during their Tinder-themed game night in January 2015.
A year after the Hawks hosted their Swipe Right Night, the couple attended the team’s second date night a year later. When Hawks CEO Steve Koonin heard the story, he said if the couple ever got married, the team would host the wedding and he would pay for it.
After hearing the couple got engaged, Koonin said he’s excited to meet them and will make good on his promise to pay for their wedding.
