Linda Hamilton Returning to ‘Terminator’ With Arnold Schwarzenegger

Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger are both on board for a sixth “Terminator” movie.

James Cameron, who directed the first two films in the franchise, will produce the movie while Tim Miller (“Deadpool”) will direct.

Cameron said recently, “As meaningful as (Hamilton) was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return.

"There are 50-year-old, 60-year-old guys out there killing bad guys, but there isn’t an example of that for women.”

Cameron also said that they’re looking for “an 18-something woman to be the new centerpiece of the new story.”

“There will be mostly new characters but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it.”

The sixth film will be a sequel to “Judgment Day,” but Cameron and Miller have established a writers room to work on the movie as part of a trilogy.
