WATCH: Tina Fey Celebrates October 3rd, Mean Girls Day, The Best Way Ever

October 3rd is known as Mean Girls Day to fans of the movie because of the scene in which Lindsay Lohan's character Cady Heron gushes about her crush, "On October 3, he asked me what day it was."

Hence, it made sense that the folks behind the Broadway adaptation of Mean Girls decided to start selling tickets on Tuesday.

TinaFey, who played teacher Mrs. Norbury in the movie, surprised fans lined up to buy tickets by handing out cheese fries from a food truck.

Mean Girls fans will know that cheese fries, of course, are a reference to Regina George's classic line in the movie: "Whatever, I'm getting cheese fries."
