Star Wars fans were delighted when a new trailer for The Last Jedi debuted on Monday.
But none were as happy as the late Carrie Fisher's canine companion, Gary Fisher.
"Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever," Gary's popular Instagram account declared this week alongside a pic of the French bulldog sitting attentively as the preview airs on a TV screen in front of him.
The post included such hashtags as "#GaryMissesHisMom," "#GaryLovesHisMom," and "#GaryLovesHisFans."
The pic shows Fisher in character as Princess Leia in what turned out to be her final Star Wars performance before her death last December at the age of 60.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in theaters on December 15.
