New flavors launch tomorrow! Pop by any of our shops for a taste of Thanksgiving's table turned into 5 incredible ice cream flavors. We've recreated your favorite holiday dishes as a delightful 5-course meal of fantastic frozen treats. Bring a friend and join our family as we pass them around the table: Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans, Buttered Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Apple Cranberry Stuffing (PDX), Persimmon Walnut Stuffing (LA & SF), Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey, and Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie (pictured here). You'll definitely want to try them all!

For the month of November, Salt & Straw is giving you the opportunity to order their five-pint "Thanksgiving Dinner of Ice Cream Series"

-- Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans ("Sweet potatoes are roasted down and mixed with cream and sugar to make a sweet, spicy, sticky ice cream. Then Oregon pecans are mixed and caramelized with maple sugar. It is then of course topped off with hand-churned ribbons of Salt & Straw’s own delicious homemade gooey maple fluff.")

-- Buttered Mashed Potatoes & Gravy (Salt & Straw makes a potato- flavored ice cream, thanks to the real potatoes boiled down until the starch turns to sugar, and then stirs in their own homemade gravy fudge made from two mashed-up recipes.")

-- Apple Cranberry Stuffing (The stuffing is made with challah bread, brown sugar, dried apples, and cranberries, which is folded into the ice cream that’s flavored with celery soda. They finish it off with a dollop of caramelized cranberry jelly.)

-- Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey ("Turkey stock is cooked and mixed with sugar, spices and onions down until it bubbles into a caramel, which creates the base of the salted caramel ice cream. And Salt & Straw also roasts turkey skin until it’s crispy and then candy-coat it and mix bits of that in, too.")

-- Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie ("It starts with goat-cheese ice cream, which is sprinkled with pumpkin pie spices, but the generous helping of mashed pumpkin folded and swirled in really steals the show.”)

All five pints are available now for $65 plus shipping.

Behold, it's Buttered Mashed Potatoes & Gravy! We’ve made over 600 different flavors of ice cream, and this is hands down the most savory one we’ve ever served. We make a potato-flavored ice cream with real potatoes we boil down until the starch turns to sugar, and then stir in our own homemade gravy fudge made from two mashed-up recipes, pun very much intended. The result is a super-dense, super-creamy ice cream that tastes sweet and salty with hints of chocolate, coffee, and yes, baked mashed potato.

Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey is back! The main course of our Thanksgiving menu, this creamy, salty turkey ice cream features bits of candy-coated crispy roasted turkey skins. For November's Sweet Potato Casserole with Maple Pecans—available starting today at all scoop shops—we roast sweet potatoes and mix them with cream and sugar to make a sweet, spicy, sticky ice cream. Then we mix in handfuls of maple-caramelized pecans and hand-churned ribbons of our own delicious homemade, extra-gooey maple marshmallow fluff. It's like your aunt's signature side dish, but way, way better.
