The email is designed to look like it comes directly from Netflix. It tells the subscriber their account has been suspended because there is trouble billing on the account.
Users are then told to sign back in, update their credit card information and restart the account.
More than 100 million subscribers have been targeted so far, but it isn’t known how the emails were obtained.
