Earlier this week, the Hamburg Consumer Protection Center announced that Nutella had raised its skim milk and sugar proportions ever so slightly, giving the popular spread a “lighter” color.
This cause foodies to freak out on Twitter.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” wrote one concerned eater.
Another tweeter named Roshy wrote, “How dare they tamper with Nutella’s recipe. Leave the chocolatey goodness alone.”
