Disney CEO Bob Iger says that several of the studio's most famous franchises will be turned into TV series for Disney's new streaming service.
The upcoming shows include a live-action "Star Wars" series, a show based on the 2001 Pixar hit “Monsters, Inc,” and the Disney Channel's “High School Musical.”
Iger also said that original programming from other sources may also be licensed for the streaming service, which is set to be cheaper than Netflix's current cost of $11 a month.
