Proving once again that he's the most fabulously off-kilter superhero of all time, Ryan Reynolds stars in a new Deadpool 2 teaser that spoofs beloved public-TV painting instructor Bob Ross.
The two-minute clip, titled "Gettin' Wet on Wet With Deadpool2," finds Reynolds in his Deadpool bodysuit and mask topped with Ross' signature white-guy Afro.
Using colors titled "Yellow Snow," "Soylent Green," "Betty White," "Red-dit," and more, Reynolds paints a Ross-like landscape of "happy little trees" before wishing he could "get high on all of life's splendor...God, I love cocaine." He soon declares, "Holy f**k knuckles, I am high as a kite right now," before experiencing "technical difficulties" that segue into a montage of high-action clips from the movie.
The teaser ends by Reynolds declaring, "From our family to yours, keep your pants dry, your dreams wet, and remember, hugs not drugs."
Deadpool 2 debuts in theaters on June 1, 2018.
That’s a wrap on DEADPOOL 2: A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE! Thank you to our beloved Captain, Mr. @davidmleitch... words are too clumsy to properly acknowledge your giant heart and talent. I love my hometown of Vancouver and our obscenely gifted crew. From our PA’s, (who are first in and last out) to our set decorators and prop department, riddling this film with Easter Eggs in almost every scene... Thank you. I already miss being on set. Which is why I’ve decided to continue shooting the film in my underwear from Josh Brolin’s well appointed living room. #MaximumEffort
