The upcoming Avengers 4 movie will serve as a “finale” of sorts for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to Vanity Fair, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige says the 2019 installment of the Avengers films marks the last contracted film for a number of the actors who play key characters.
“There will be two distinct periods,” Feige notes. “Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018, with Avengers 4 set to follow on May 3, 2019.
