HBO has officially announced that the hit TV series, Big Little Lies, will be back for a second season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that producer/stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman will be back on board, as will writer/producer David E. Kelley.
Season one director Jean-Marc Valleé, however, will not be back. Instead, Transparent and American Honey vet Andrea Arnold will direct.
"I'm beyond excited to be working with acclaimed director Andrea Arnold who will be at the helm," Witherspoon said. "Andrea's unique storytelling style will be a welcome addition to the filmmaking team."
Most of the other stars from the first season are also expected to return.
