On Friday, Kensington Palace announced that the recently engaged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will get married on Saturday, May 19, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
As the AP notes, the date presents a conflict for Harry’s brother, Prince William.
He is president of the English Football Association, and May 19 is the date of the FA Cup final, one of the biggest English soccer games of the year. William attended this year’s match and presented a trophy to the winner, Arsenal.
We’re guessing this time around, he’ll pick the Palace over the pitch.
