On Tuesday's episode of Ellen, Jerry Seinfeld teased fans by suggesting that his beloved show Seinfeld could return in the future.
"All these sitcoms are having a resurgence," host Ellen DeGeneres told Seinfeld as he nodded in agreement. "Roseanne is doing it, I heard Murphy Brown—is that really true, Murphy Brown is doing it?" Seinfeld responded, "Murphy Brown? And Candice Bergen is coming back? ...I think I know where you’re going with this--why don’t you finish it?”
Ellen then asked, "Well, do you think, Jerry, there would be a possibility that ‘Seinfeld’ would come back?" The comedian replied, "It's possible." When the audience burst into applause, he smiled. "They like the idea," he noted.
Hey Julia Louis-Dreyfus - @officialjld - I have a surprise for you. Tonight, in the season premiere episode of Comedians in Cars (11:30 pm ET), you say something outside the restaurant that reminded me of a piece of dialogue from the first scene we ever did together on “Seinfeld.” I’ve included the “Seinfeld” footage right after the CCC footage. I hope you like it. -Jerry
