Late Wednesday, Minnesota legislator Drew Christensen announced that he’d introduced a bill to ban Arie Luyendyk Jr. from jilted Bachelor winner Becca Kufrin’s home state.
“The state of Minnesota hereby adopts a policy of zero tolerance of Arie Luyendyk, Jr. from Season 22 of The Bachelor,” Rep. Christensen’s bill reads. “Every person in the state has a right to live free from the presence of Arie Luyendyk, Jr.”
Whether this legislation will pass—or is even enforceable—is beside the point.
Shortly after Luyendyk ditched Kufrin for runner-up Lauren Burnham on the show's season finale, fans flooded Kufrin with thousands of dollars via Venmo to help her drink her sorrows away.
She quickly announced that she’d give all the money to Stand Up for Cancer, with Katie Couric offering to match the donation.
