Taco Bell To Sell Tortilla Chips Inspired By It's Infamous Sauces

Taco Bell has announced plans to sell a line of tortilla chips inspired by their Classic, Mild and Fire-flavored sauces.

"Our sauce packets are one of the brand's most unique aspects and were the natural choice for both the flavors and packaging of our tortilla chips," Marisa Thalberg, chief brand officer at Taco Bell, says in a statement to NBC.

The Classic tortilla chips are simply salted, while the Mild chips are seasoned with three different chili peppers and cumin and the Fire chips have hints of jalapeno, chili peppers and paprika.

The chips join a line of dips, sauces, shells and seasoning mixes that Taco Bell sells in partnership with Kraft. Prices for the bags will be set by each grocery store retail outlet and will be available starting in May.
