Amazon's Cashier-Less Stores Coming To Chicago & San Fran

Amazon confirmed this week that it will open two more Amazon Go checkout-free convenience stores in Chicago and San Francisco after the first one debuted in Seattle in January.

Amazon Go shoppers must have a dedicated mobile app to enter the store, which features food and drinks you might find in a supermarket.

Instead of checking out via a cash register, or using shopping carts or baskets, customers just leave the store and their Amazon account is automatically charged.

It's unclear when exactly the new stores will open, although the company posted job listings for both locations last month.
