U.S. Post Office Releasing Scratch & Sniff Stamps For Summer!

Signed, sealed, delicious!

The U.S. Post Office announced Monday that it's getting into the summer spirit with its first-ever line of scratch-and-sniff postage stamps.

The 20 different stamps will feature watercolor illustrations of popsicles, with the Post Office hinting in a press release that their accompanying scents will smell like your favorite summer fruits.

"In recent years, frozen treats containing fresh fruit such as kiwi, watermelon, blueberries, oranges, and strawberries have become more common," the statement reads in part. "In addition, flavors such as chocolate, root beer, and cola are also popular."

The stamps will have their official debut at a June 20 dedication ceremony at the Thinkery Children's Museum in Austin, Texas.
