WATCH: Tim Burton's Live-Action "Dumbo" Debuts Teaser Trailer

It looks like director Tim Burton is taking a Disney classic to the dark side in the first teaser-trailer for his upcoming live-action remake of Dumbo.

The minute-and-a-half clip, which unexpectedly dropped on Wednesday, shows one-armed war vet and former circus star Holt Farrier (played by Colin Farrell) discovering the titular baby elephant in his barn along with his children as ominous music plays.

As The New York Times notes, Dumbo is then "enlisted to appear at the ironically named Dreamland, a new entertainment mega-complex with a nightmarish underbelly."

The movie, which reunites Burton with his Batman franchise co-stars Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito, arrives in March 2019.
