Ryan Reynolds is a heartbreaker in more ways than one.
This week, one of the actor's fans tweeted at him to let him know that his new movie Deadpool 2was responsible for the end of his relationship. "Deadpool 2 came out on my birthday and my girlfriend at the time saw it without me, then broke up with me," Twitter user Josiah Thieman wrote Reynolds.
"I thought it would be the ultimate birthday gift but it turned out to be a disaster." He then added a sad-faced emoticon and the words, "I love you."
Reynolds answered by first explaining to his Twitter followers why Thieman's girlfriend would be motivated by the movie to break up with him.
SPOILER ALERT! "There’s a scene in the film where Deadpool tells your girlfriend to break up with you," Reynolds said. "I didn’t think she’d take it seriously. I’m so sorry. Still friends?"
Thieman replied, "STILL FRIENDS."
