A white woman is under fire for apparently calling cops on a black girl selling water outside her home in San Francisco.
Someone recorded the woman (Allison Ettel) on the phone telling someone possibly the cops that the 8-year-old girl was illegally selling water without a permit.The person says that the girl is selling water on her own property but the woman says “it’s not your property” as she walks away.
The girl’s cousin posted the video on Twitter and said cops never came because it wasn’t a crime.
The woman and her employer have received lots of abuse after the incident went viral.
She later said she regrets the incident: “It was wrong, and I wish I could take it back. Believe me, I wish I had never done that.”
