Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins took to Twitter on Wednesday to share the first photo of funnywoman Kristen Wiig as evildoer Cheetah in the movie's upcoming sequel, Wonder Woman 1984.
"Enter Barbara Minerva," Jenkins captioned the snap, which shows Wiig's character looking around in wonder at a room full of taxidermied animals while sporting big '80s hair, a roomy sweatshirt and skirt and heels.
Mashable notes that "Minerva is a British archaeologist whose research leads her to Africa, to a tribe that worships a female cheetah warrior.
She takes over the mantle, but with side effects, including a certain murderous mania that won't sit well with Diana Prince."
Wonder Woman 1984 arrives in theaters on November 1, 2019.
