Pete Davidson gave his fiancée Ariana Grande his late father Scott's FDNY badge on a necklace. His was a firefighter who died during the 9/11 attacks.
Davidson shared a photo of Grande wearing the badge on Instagram and received some backlash. "No girl should ever wear your dad's chain. So disrespectful," one critic wrote.
Davidson quickly fired back. "For your information that’s not just some girl. That’s my fiancée," he wrote. "She’s the greatest person I know. I gave it to her because she has my heart and that is the most precious thing I own.'
He added, "My dad would be so happy and love her so much."
